Home fragrance for homes shared with dogs

Wildlove began with dog care — shampoo, conditioner, paw balm — made in small batches for the dogs we love. The Home Collection grew from the same question: what would home fragrance look like if it were designed from the start for people who share their sofa, their evenings and their whole home with a dog?

The answer is quieter. Fewer, more considered scents. Moderate fragrance. Clear guidance. And vessels beautiful enough to leave out on the mantel.

What pet-conscious means — and what it does not

Pet-conscious means dogs are part of every decision: the wax we pour, how strongly we fragrance it, and the way we tell you to use it. It does not mean non-toxic, veterinarian-approved or safe for every dog. Dogs are individuals, and a scent that suits one home may not suit another. If your dog has breathing, skin or other health concerns, talk to your veterinarian before using any scented product.

Hand-poured soy-coconut candles in Canada

Every candle and wax melt is hand-poured in Canada in a premium soy-coconut wax blend, chosen for a smooth, even melt and a soft fragrance throw. We use moderate fragrance levels so scent accompanies a room rather than filling it. Candles come in straight-sided metal tins with natural wood lids, in 4 oz ($18 CAD) and 10 oz ($36 CAD).

Candles or wax melts?

Candles bring flame, light and ritual — ideal for evenings when you are in the room. Wax melts are flameless: place one cube in a warmer designed for melts, and add another only if you want more. Each clear 4-cavity clamshell holds four melts, so you can adjust fragrance cube by cube. Melts are offered only as curated sets: the Trio (3 clamshells, $21 CAD) and the Six (6 clamshells, $36 CAD).

Winter Collection scent guide

First Snow — white tea, cashmere, winter woods and vanilla. Light, clean and calm, for mornings and open living spaces.

Noël Noir — black currant, amber, sandalwood and vanilla. Rich and warm, for long evenings and a gift with presence.

Evergreen House — winter evergreen, sandalwood, white tea and amber. Fresh and grounding, for kitchens, entryways and the room where the leashes hang.

Care and ventilation around your dog

Burn or melt in a well-ventilated room, and keep the door open so your dog can always choose to leave. Place candles and warmers on stable, heat-resistant surfaces, well above wagging tails. Never leave a flame or warmer unattended, and never let your dog lick or chew wax — melts are not edible. Stop use if you notice sneezing, watery eyes or restlessness.
